He coaches runners of all abilities, from the beginner to the seasoned racer... Whatever standard of running you have reached, he will develop with you a personal coaching programme that is guaranteed to TRANSFORM your running performance.
JACK'S COACHING PROCESS
1. You submit your Personal Details Questionnaire.
2. Jack will e-mail you his "10 Secrets To Beating Your PB" article.
3. Jack will also e-mail you Notes on how to use his Training Diary, which you download and begin using.
4. You will be asked to complete a Food & Drink Diary for one week, after which he will make suggestions and comments on your diet.
5. He will arrange a suitable time for a 'phone conversation to talk about your background, your present level of training, what your 3-month and 6- month objectives are, as well as answering any questions you have.
6. He will provide you with an initial running programme. It is how you adapt to this template, which will shape future schedules that eventually become tailored to your level of ability at that time and the demands of the running and other training recommended to achieve your targets/goals.
7. Weekly exchange of comments and recommendations after he's read your Training Diary that you e-mail/pass him.
8. Option of joining his group at Trent Park Running Club in North London.
9. Training Camps twice a year, where your running will be exposed to new challenges, whilst good technical habits will be grooved. 10. Review of your running progress at the end of each year, recovery period and establishing new targets from your newly-won level of fitness.
YOUR COACH will introduce you to a detailed warm-up that prepares you for the session or race physiologically and mentally. JACK will teach you how to use each different session, so that you balance intense training with sufficient recovery. AS YOUR COACH, Jack will structure your training programme, so that you are stretched just slightly more than your present level of fitness. HE will teach you how to spread your effort in races, running economically, so that you are strong in the last third of a race and pass many other runners. YOUR RUNNING COACH will describe to you and develop better running technique, so that your running economy improves and you run faster. JACK will bring you excitement and success, as a result of your improved speed and race times.
